The trees
A single head of fronds at the very top, and nothing at all below it.
50 trunks stand on a triangular lattice 11.0 m apart, each jittered up to 1.6 m off its cell so no two rows line up. Trunks run 18 m to 22 m, and the lowest 86% of one is bare — which is the whole reason you can see down a lane here instead of standing in a bush. The first crown starts 15.5 m above your head.
The narrowest passage this species can produce between two trunk colliders is 6.5 m, which is the floor for the entire stand: everything else in it is further apart than that.
